Whilst flicking through the gamespy review I found one screenshot that is pretty interesting...

Please tell me the one at the bottom is true!

The one at the top looks pretty tasty too...

Not counting human, I recognize 3 of those being from other sources. Calamari - Star Wars (Mon Calamari cruiser, etc), Kodan - Last Starfighter (Zur and the Kodan armada), Vogon - Hitchhiker's Guide (Vogon constructor ships)...
Draconian could be from a number of places I suppose, but I don't specifically recognize it. Is it from somewhere I might have heard of?

All the same, Even if this is a joke I would like to see a GCII mod with vogon ships in it..

Draginol has done this in the past too....he likes to put know names....these are just placeholders for fun. Won't be in the final version.

The draconians were a species of comparatively honorable reptilians in Doctor Who. Roughly militarily equal to earth around 2500-2600.

Pascal's right...these are just place holders   but the game will be fairly modable, playing as your favorite race shouldn't be too hard

The Draconian name was also given to a race of aliens in the 80's TV version of Buck Rogers in the 25th Century. They were led by Princess Ardala, and now that I've seen the show again on DVD, she kinda reminds me of a man. Just a little.

I would assume all those names come from the word.
